Who are Anglia Research?
We are the leading firm involved in Probate Research and Heir Location worldwide, now in our fifth decade of providing tracing services to the legal world, with a hard-earned and well-deserved reputation for integrity.
Our researchers can piece together the most complex family tree, often based on a very small amount of information provided. Our in-house experts liaise with a global network of over 200 research agents to trace missing beneficiaries or next-of-kin worldwide. Our many thousands of assignments have produced an enviable success rate. It’s no exaggeration to say that we ‘reach the parts that others cannot reach’!
What services do you provide?
Whether you are the named Executor or are acting on behalf of a Personal Representative, or are faced with an intestate situation, or need to trace a person or a document, we can assist. For example:-
- Legal beneficiaries in cases of intestacy
- Missing heirs named in wills
- Missing shareholders
- Pension fund holders and their legal beneficiaries
- Relevant Grants and Civil Records
We can also help you locate other relevant people such as trustees, executors, shareholders and title holders, etc.
Every assignment receives prompt diligent attention, and results are presented in clear and concise reports.
How do you find entitled Heirs?
Our research methods are as varied as the cases we work. Our in-house library is second-to-none, with material available only to us, and includes one of the largest collections of directories in private hands. Our investment in bespoke systems is core to our ability to provide you with unrivalled service
What Added Value can you offer us?
The world of probate produces many unusual and sometimes unique situations. Do feel free to contact us concerning any problem and we will reply quickly with our assessment before any thought of charging
Once instructed, we often ‘tidy up’ small low-value aspects of an estate without charge; and we can give assistance in obtaining some of the lesser-known Grants, e.g. Ad Colligenda Bona.
We can also help you locate other relevant people such as trustees, executors, shareholders, title holders, etc.
Do you Offer Missing Beneficiary Insurance?
Our research findings are supported by fully-documented family trees and reports, which are presented in an easily understandable and attractive format. This makes applications for Missing Beneficiary Insurance straightforward, and if needed we are also able to source these policies for you because we are FSA Registered. Note: We do not accept commissions for these Policies, so your client does not pay twice.
Can we be assured of Confidentiality?
We are a well-kept secret, and we treat your information in the same way. Anglia Research has always opted to be a low-profile company, so you won’t find your cases used for publicity on the BBC or in any other media. Nor are we a Trust Corporation, so we are not in competition with you; your clients’ details are safe with us.
How are you Regulated?
Probate Genealogy is unregulated, which is why great care must be taken when selecting an Expert. Many smaller firms are entirely unregulated and have little experience in the field and are not as thorough as they should be. Others acquire impressive-looking ‘credentials’ which, under scrutiny, amount to very little. Anglia Research has the following credentials:-
FSA Regulated
