Position: Case Manager
Working for Anglia Research really is a dream come true. I have a keen interest in ancestry and genealogy, having researched my own family tree over recent years. This fascination, coupled with more than two decades of investigative experience, has allowed me to expand my skills and knowledge in genealogical research and analysis.
Carl joined Anglia Research in 2016, bringing with him 24 years’ investigative experience as an officer with Merseyside Police. He is currently studying for a BSc in psychology with the Open University.
Level headed, methodical and with a keen eye for detail, Carl is a welcome addition to our Southport team.

Thank you so much for all the hard work you have put into tracing possible beneficiaries of a recently deceased family member. The family here in Cardiff has very much enjoyed the journey we took with you to find out more about our ancestors and extended family.
The way that Anglia Research operates with a dedicated case manager ensures that communication is always timely, efficient, extremely informative, professional and above all a very pleasant experience.

I just wanted to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for the trouble Carl has gone to in order to track down next of kin of wartime SAS men. His efforts mean they may attend the opening of a memorial to their relatives who were shot after capture in 1944. Although the crime scenes were covered over, after much research, I have located them and am funding two memorials to be erected this summer at the exact locations. However, I lacked the expertise required to find families and Carl, having spotted my Twitter appeal, has done sterling work in putting them in touch with me. This is much appreciated not only by the families but also by the modern Regiment. Thank you.

I am just writing a swift note to say thank you for the service we have received from Carl Bargh. Carl contacted us regarding a possible inheritance from a distant relative. Although nothing has come of the case financially it has alerted us to a part of our family which we knew little about. With information from Carl we can now research a little more of our history. Throughout the process Carl has been sensitive and thoughtful. The information he has provided has been interesting and insightful. Many thanks.
