Anglia Research Heads to London for the Lifetime Lawyers National Conference

On Wednesday 8th October, the Shaw Theatre in London will host one of the most anticipated events in the private client calendar: the Lifetime Lawyers National Conference 2025.

This year’s theme, The Bourne Legacy, promises a gripping, day-long case study that dives deep into the complexities of wills, inheritance, and ethical practice – topics close to our hearts here at Anglia Research.

We’re proud to be one of the event sponsors and will be exhibiting throughout the day. If you’re attending, come and say hello – we’d love to connect and explain how we can help private client law professionals.

What’s on the Agenda?

This year’s conference centres around a fictional but thought-provoking scenario involving Frank J Bourne and his family’s tangled legacy. Attendees will explore:

  • Validity of homemade wills witnessed remotely during the pandemic
  • Adoption status and inheritance rights
  • Business property relief and agricultural property relief
  • Client care best practices for home visits and safeguarding

With expert commentary from leading voices in the field, including Caroline Bielanska, Professor Lesley King, Ian Bond, Charlotte John, and Seema Flower, the day promises rich discussion, practical insights, and plenty of food for thought.

When and where?

  • Conference: 09:00 – 17:00
  • Location: Shaw Theatre, 100-110 Euston Road, London, NW1 2AJ

Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or new to the field, this event offers a chance to sharpen your knowledge and reflect on the evolving landscape of client care and legacy planning. And a whole day to connect with peers.

This conference aligns perfectly with our mission to provide probate and Court of Protection lawyers with research that can be relied upon.

We’ll be sharing updates from the day across our social channels, so stay tuned – and if you’re attending, we look forward to seeing you there.
