Samuel Prentice BA (Hons) MA

Samuel joined the Southport office in early 2022 after the completion of his MA. Sam’s BA was in Classical Studies at Newcastle University, and his MA was in Classics and Ancient History at Liverpool.

His passion for researching the past and his previous customer service experience make him a fine addition to the wider Anglia Research team.

 

The job is as interesting as it is rewarding, ensuring rightful heirs receive their inheritance and often uncovering fascinating family connections and stories along the way. Every case comes with its unique nuances. By engaging with my clients I am often given bits of information about the characters and life events outside of those that are available in records, its helps to humanise the names in front of me.

Sometimes the interest and discovery is for me to give to the family when I reveal information, small or significant, about members of their family that they did not know.
